Committees

The following committees have been established to accomplish the mission of the Foundation. For further information about any of the committees or to volunteer to serve on a committee, please contact the committee chair.

Advertising & Promotion

Charge: Promote and report on CPHF sponsored events and projects.

Bruce Anderson – Chair

Educator Outreach

Charge: Provide instructional resources and materials to educators relative to California’s pioneer history.

Chair position is vacant at this time.

Finance & Membership and Local Chapter Development

Charge: Solicit major donor funding for the Foundation’s projects. Also, encourage Foundation membership throughout the state, and assist in the formation of local chapters.

Internet Initiatives

Charge: Maintain and develop the Foundation website, blog and other internet presence.

Boyd Jensen – Chair

Liaison

Charge: Maintain cooperative relationships with organizations sharing a common interest with the Foundation.

Greg Bragg – Chair

Living History Re-enactors

Charge: Provide support for and promote the activities of the living history re-enactment groups throughout the state.

Dennis Amaral – Chair

Project Selection and Oversight

Charge: Receive and evaluate proposals for projects to be funded or sponsored by the Foundation. Oversee the application of Foundation funds on approved projects.
