MORMON BATTALION DAY

Mormon Battalion Day is celebrated in Old Town San Diego the last Saturday of January. It is sponsored by the Old Town State Historic Park and the Mormon Battalion Historic Site in Old Town. It celebrates the arrival of the Mormon Battalion in San Diego in January 1847.
